Snow Time!

This is the third time it has snowed in the month of December!  Of course, we missed the biggest one Christmas Eve, but at least we got some today!  Here are some of the pictures...

Christmas in Beaumont 2009

We spent the Christmas holidays between Cliff's family and mine.  We missed the White Christmas in Fort Worth, but did get to see some of the left overs.  I was surprised to see snow when we got home 2 days after the snow...at least we got to see some of it!

Let it Snow!

This morning we had a nice surprise...SNOW! This is our first snow since we lived in Fort Worth.  Last year Beaumont got snow and we didn't! The year before our area got 6 inches...we just didn't live here yet.  So, we were just missing the snow.  This snow melted fast, but it was very pretty anyway.  We knew there was a chance, but we weren't expecting it. So that made the surprise even better. Our cats, Boo and Shadow, did not know what to think at first - but ended up in it before it was over with.  They didn't last long though!!!  I heard we may get more Friday...we'll see.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009

We went home to Beaumont for Thanksgiving.  It was a short but fun trip!  I really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with family...just wish it could've lasted longer.  Here are some of our memories...

Thanksgiving Fellowship at Church!

We had church Tuesday night instead of our Wednesday night service this week due to Thanksgiving.  Pastor said that since a lot of us have to travel and some ladies have a lot of cooking to do that we would just move it to Tuesday night.  After church we had a small fellowship with just desserts!

From time to time my family surprises us with gift cards to different restaurants or even some cash to go to a restaurant of our choice.  It is always exciting to get them in the mail especially when you live away from home.  I really appreciate them thinking of us!!  Love y'all!

A Nice Surprise!

Last night I got a nice surprise...Sam and Kim came to church for a visit!  It was good to see them and enjoyed the visit at Taco Bell after church.  We've made plans to do some Christmas shopping real soon...I can't wait!

Two of my favorite veteran's are my dad and Bro. Clendennen.  They both are former Marines.  So, naturally the Marines have always been my favorite!  My family has veteran's on both sides, and I am so proud of them all and thankful for their service!

Six Years Today...

November 8, 2003 doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but today is our six year anniversary!!! It is hard to believe, and a lot has happened during those few years.  I would have never thought that I would be living in Fort Worth if you would have told me that on our wedding day!!  God has been so good to us, and I am so thankful that He guides us and takes care of us.  Here are some "then" and "now" pictures.

Arrangement by Marie

My mother-in-law, Marie, made me this beautiful arrangement.  Cliff's family came up for a visit and while they were here we headed over to Canton.  While we were shopping, I found some beautiful artificial flowers and berries.  I had Marie arrange them for me since she has a lot of experience with flowers!!  This picture really doesn't do it justice.  It is so much prettier in person.  Thanks Marie!  I know I will enjoy it for a long time!!!

Canton Trade Days

Friday we went to the Canton Trade Days with Cliff's Mom and Dad.  Canton was amazing, and we had a great time shopping!  Tinker even was dressed and ready to shop with us.  She wasn't so sure about all of the crowd, but she did get a lot of attention that day.

Here are just some of the pretty things we saw that day.  We also went to a store called Paul Michaels that is on the Canton property, but I didn't get any pictures because I was so busy looking around and enjoying their complimentary sandwiches, fruit, cookies, and soft drinks!
