19 weeks...

Everything has been going pretty well.  This Thursday I will be 20 weeks and we will get to find out the sex of the baby.  I can't wait!  Anyway, here are a few more pictures...

Week 12 Appointment

12.01.11

Today was my monthly appointment, and I am also 12 weeks.  We did get to hear the heartbeat which was so neat.  The doctor said that it was good and healthy and was about 150 bpm.  He jokingly told me not to read anything into that!!  8 more weeks and we can find out the sex!  I can't wait!  He also pointed out to us that the other sounds we were hearing was the baby moving.  So amazing!

First OB Appointment

November 3, 2011

At my first OB appointment the Dr. confirmed that I was 8 weeks pregnant.  I had my first sonogram and got to see the heartbeat.  Even though it was too early to hear the heartbeat, it was so amazing to see it!

This pregnancy also is going to be helpful with the endometriosis I've had for the last few years! Thank you Jesus! This is exciting news because the endometriosis has given me several problems in the last year.  It is amazing that the creation of life that God designed is also going to be a blessing to my health.  The endometriosis can still come back after birth, but I am trusting that this is the beginning of His Healing process in me and blessing us with a child all at the same time!!

Big News...

October 27, 2011

A week before October 27th I noticed that I wasn't feeling quite right and had several reasons to think that I was  pregnant!  One that really got my attention was that my favorite Febreeze plug-ins were now making me sick to my stomach!  The 27th was my annual doctor's appointment so I figured that I would wait and find out for sure then if I truly was pregnant. Even though I was pretty sure that I would be, it was still surprising to actually hear someone say that the test was positive.  For nearly 4 1/2 years I have had no reason not to get pregnant, but due to some health problems I've had during this time things have not allowed for us to have a baby.  Even though I have left out a lot of the details...it is a miracle that I am pregnant!!! God's timing is always best!!

Okemah, Oklahoma

Today Cliff and I went to Okemah, Oklahoma which is about 4 hours northeast of our home.  I went to do something for the company I used to work for before we moved.  After I finished we ate at a small diner in their downtown area.  It was called Boomerangs.  It is a 50s style diner, and it had really good food.  It was fun to eat somewhere different for a change!

I pulled the sheets off of the bed today to wash and left the comforter on the floor.  I was looking for Shadow, and I couldn't find him anywhere.  All of a sudden, I saw a little head pop up out of the covers.  It was so cute!!!

More Snow Pictures....

It's Snowing Again...

Today we were only expected to get 1-3 inches of snow, but it turned out to be a whole lot more.  Since I got up at 5:30 this morning it was snowing, and it hasn't stopped since! They have said that it may continue into early Friday morning! I am not real sure of the actual inch count, but I measured 6 inches on the Expedition late this afternoon.  Cliff measured 10 1/2 inches by the mailbox.  This is the most I've ever seen!!

Snow Time!

This is the third time it has snowed in the month of December!  Of course, we missed the biggest one Christmas Eve, but at least we got some today!  Here are some of the pictures...

Christmas in Beaumont 2009

We spent the Christmas holidays between Cliff's family and mine.  We missed the White Christmas in Fort Worth, but did get to see some of the left overs.  I was surprised to see snow when we got home 2 days after the snow...at least we got to see some of it!

Let it Snow!

This morning we had a nice surprise...SNOW! This is our first snow since we lived in Fort Worth.  Last year Beaumont got snow and we didn't! The year before our area got 6 inches...we just didn't live here yet.  So, we were just missing the snow.  This snow melted fast, but it was very pretty anyway.  We knew there was a chance, but we weren't expecting it. So that made the surprise even better. Our cats, Boo and Shadow, did not know what to think at first - but ended up in it before it was over with.  They didn't last long though!!!  I heard we may get more Friday...we'll see.

We went home to Beaumont for Thanksgiving.  It was a short but fun trip!  I really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with family...just wish it could've lasted longer.  Here are some of our memories...

Thanksgiving Fellowship at Church!

We had church Tuesday night instead of our Wednesday night service this week due to Thanksgiving.  Pastor said that since a lot of us have to travel and some ladies have a lot of cooking to do that we would just move it to Tuesday night.  After church we had a small fellowship with just desserts!

From time to time my family surprises us with gift cards to different restaurants or even some cash to go to a restaurant of our choice.  It is always exciting to get them in the mail especially when you live away from home.  I really appreciate them thinking of us!!  Love y'all!

A Nice Surprise!

Last night I got a nice surprise...Sam and Kim came to church for a visit!  It was good to see them and enjoyed the visit at Taco Bell after church.  We've made plans to do some Christmas shopping real soon...I can't wait!
